Guidelines for abstracts of oral / poster presentations
Abstracts for oral or poster presentations shall be presented as fully justified text. Left, right, and bottom margins should be 1.9 cm. and the top margin 2.5 cm. The font for the main body of the text should be Times 10 pt with interlinear spacing of 11 pt. Abstracts should be presented in Portable Document Format (pdf). Clearly indicate what type of presentation you would prefer.
Provision will be made for long and short oral papers.
Duration of presentation of long oral paper, will be 20 min; abstract required maximally 1000 words.
Duration of presentation of short oral paper, will be 10 min; abstract required maximally 500 words.
Poster presentations will be scheduled in one hour slots each during the course of each day; abstract required maximally 1000 words.
Diagrams and tables should be of high quality in order to be adequately reproduced electronically.
Posters The size of posters holders is 90cm x 150 cm and the format is vertical (Portrait). The Poster Boards cannot accommodate Landscape posters.
Guidelines for proposals for workshops:
Workshops will be divided in 4 hour sessions. Proposals for the presentation of half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) workshops are invited. No workshop should last longer than one day. Proposals may be of a technical or non-technical (philosophical) nature. Please specify the nature of the content and whether you would require networked computer-lab facilities, or a class-room type of venue. Specify the nature of the software that may need to be uploaded prior to the workshop. Specify the ideal number of participants, and what type of prior knowledge will be required. Hands-on training of particular applicable software use will be welcomed.
